The Longhollow Long Beards chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation is hosting its annual banquet and auction on Saturday, February 6th at Hendersonville High School, 133 Cherokee Rd Hendersonville.  This is the only NWTF banquet in Sumner County this year.  Doors open at 5:00 with dinner at 6:30 and the auction to follow.  Cost of admission is $30 and includes a membership in the NWTF and your meal.  Money raised from this event is used to further the mission of conservation and preservation of the hunting  heritage by the Longhollow Long Beards and the NWTF.  The Longhollow Chapter sponsors many events throughout the year including its annual scholarship to Sumner County high school seniors.  This year’s scholarship recipient, Miss Kelly Wicker of Merrol Hyde Magnet School, will be honored at the banquet.  For further information please contact Lee Wiley 473-3049 or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or Bob Cotter 826-0616 or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
