In what was an eight point game at halftime, Station Camp exploded in the second half, easily capturing a win over their cross-town rival Gallatin late last week.  The final score, 51-23, was a thirty point second half for the Lady Bison while holding the Wave to a ten-point production.

Though the Lady Bison doubled the Gallatin output in the first quarter, 14-7, the Lady Wave remained within striking distance.  Station Camp implemented the same style of play as does it varsity counterpart, a relentless defense and an offense that capitalizes on opponent’s mistakes.  It would prove to be the downfall of the Green and Gold.

Gallatin fell behind one point greater by the time the second quarter buzzer sounded.  The Lady Bison enter the halftime locker room with an eight-point advantage, 21-13.

Lauren Whited led the Wave in first half scoring with four points.  Paige Legge collected three points, while teammates Jordan Mann, Josie Claud and Sara Whiticker had two points at the break.

Janasia Williams had eight points in the first half to lead the Lady Bison.  Leah Suter had five points, Savannah Keele had four, Kayla Deeter posted three points in the first half and Kaylie Passen had one points from the free throw line.

With the beginning of the third period, the lady Bison quickly put the game out of reach.  By the end of the third period, the lead had expanded to fifteen points for the Bison, 36-21.

Holding the Wave to a slight two points in the final period, the Bison secured an easy victory, 51-23.

Three members of the Bison saw double figures, Suter, Williams and Keele.  Williams led the way with a game high nineteen points.  Keele followed with twelve and Suter reached double figures with ten points from the field.  Deeter and Passen were each held scoreless in the second half of play.  Raven Staten entered the contest and had six points in the second half for the Bison.

For the Lady Wave, Whited finished with a team high six points.  Claud had five points.  Mann and Hendricks each finished with four points.  Legge netted three points and Whiticker had two points.
