HPD Arrests Three for Credit Card Fraud

gonzalezGonzalezThe Hendersonville Police Department received a complaint on Monday at Wal-Mart, 204 N. Anderson Lane.  The complaint was that three males were at the store attempting to purchase gift cards with fraudulently created credit cards.

Corporal Monica Lynch of the Hendersonville Police Department was the first on the scene and made contact with two of the subjects, Luis Perez and Rodolfo Gonzalez.  The third subject was later located and identified as Orlando Coro. 

The three subjects were in possession of multiple credit cards and gift cards.  All three have been charged with:

Criminal Simulation (14 counts) for the credit cards and Theft of property over $1,000 for possession of fraudulently obtained gift cards.

Luis Perez, 21, is from Miami, Fla., Rodolfo Gonzalez (21) is from Coral Springs, Fla., and Orlando Coro (27) is from Hialeah, Fla.

There is reason to believe that these three subjects have traveled between Florida and New York.  This investigation is continuing as we attempt to notify those agencies to determine if these three have committed any other crimes.
