Hendersonville Police Detective Harrell charged a seventeen year old juvenile with Arson, Vandalism over $10,000 and Vandalism over $500 in a case involving a fire at the Waterview Apartments located at 1300 Waterview Circle in the early morning hours on Wednesday, Aug, 8. Investigation revealed that a free standing structure containing the mailboxes for the apartments had been set on fire. Evidence of a second fire was discovered on the porch of a nearby apartment.

The damage to a vehicle and apartment complex was estimated to be over $33,000. The case will be heard at a later date in the Juvenile Court of Sumner County. No persons were injured as a result of this arson.
