John (Jack) Bunyan Hunnicutt age 75, of Goodlettsville passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. today, Friday, December 17, 2010 at Austin & Bell Funeral Home, White House. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Remaining visitation with family today 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. Jack served as Police and Fire Chief for the City of Goodlettsville and Director of Safety for 48 years. Jack was on the Directors Staff at Al Menah Shrine Temple and he also served in #271 Masonic Lodge F&AM in Goodlettsville. He was born October 30, 1935 in Davidson County, to his late parents, William J. and Yolonde Briggs Hunnicutt, Sr. He is also preceded in death by wife, Verna Rhea Ayers Hunnicutt; brothers, Jeff, Gordon, Martin Hunnicutt; sisters, June Dean, Yolonde Copeland, Frances Hunnicutt, Bernadine Patton, Joyce Ballinger. He is survived by son, Randy Hunnicutt of Goodlettsville. Masonic service was Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Jackson, Richard Pope, Ken Jenkins, Randy Hall, Phillip Gibson, Sammy and Phillip Uldrich. Honorary pallbearers: elected officials of City of Goodlettsville (past and present), police and firemen of Goodlettsville (past and present), Judge Gail Robinson, Directors Staff of Al Menah Shrine, Chief Joe Casey, East Station Metro Police Dept., John Harris, Mr. Scott. Thomas Lester Barrett age 48, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Northcrest Medical Center. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Austin & Bell Funeral Home, White House. Burial will follow at White House Memorial Gardens. Visitation with will be today, Friday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thomas was born December 10, 1962 in Michigan. He was plant manager at Staley Company in White House. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Faye Burton Barrett; parents, Howard and Joyce Barrett of Burbank, CA; sons, Max of Knoxville and Michael Barrett of White House; daughter, Elizabeth (Jeff) Wells of Gallatin; step-daughters,Stephanie (Michael) Waltz and Stacey (T.J.) Slagle both of Greenbrier; brother, Joe Barrett of California; sister, Kim Butera of California; seven step grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Max and Michael Barrett, Jeff Wells, T.J. Slagle, Michael Waltz, Bart Posey. |
