Cassie Satterfield Green age 78, of Gallatin, passed away Friday, October 28, 2011. Funeral service was Tuesday, November 1 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Yarborough and Allen Willis officiating. Interment followed in Sumner Memorial Gardens with T. J. Green, Danny Fykes, Johnny Fykes, James Brackin, Nathan Hardiman and David Robinson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Ed Franklin and Joe Barber. Mrs. Green was born January 13, 1933 in Hartsville, daughter of the late Mitchell and Mary Cannon Satterfield. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by son, Rickie W. Green, brother, Roy Satterfield and sisters, Eva Mae Davis and Thelma Thomason. She is survived by her husband, Herbert Green of Gallatin; sons, Andy Green (Rosa) of Hendersonville, Isaac Green (Leona) of Gallatin; a very loved daughter-in-law Peggy Green of Gallatin; brothers, Jack Satterfield of Hartsville; Ray D. Satterfield of Lebanon; sisters, Edith Warren (Gus) of Rossville, GA and Ann Mungle (Doug) of Hartsville; grandchildren, Kim Brackin (James), T. J. Green, Jessica Willis (Allen), Sarah Robinson (David) and Rachel Hardiman (Nathan) and great grandchildren Garrett Brackin, Dawson Robinson, Jonah Willis and Eve Willis. A memorial service was held Sunday, October 30 at 2 p.m. from Alexander Funeral Home. Mr. Duncan was born in Johnson City, son of the late Claude and Ovdia Duncan. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, G.R. and Tony Duncan and one sister, Margaret Eloise Duncan. She is survived by her husband Jimmy and son Darrell Templeton, both of Gallatin and two brothers, Roger Gregory and wife, Diane of Gallatin and Tim Gregory and wife, Nancy of Castalian Springs. Mrs. Eddy was born February 5, 1922 in Sumner County, daughter of the late John and Julia Baskerville Collins. She is survived by sons, Richard Freeman and Nathan Eddy both of Gallatin; three sisters, six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents. she is preceded in death by brothers, Earl Ladd and Delbert Ladd and sister, Rosie Ladd. She is survived by her husband Curtis Kevan of Bethpage; son, Billy Harris of Bethpage; daughters, Linda Hester and husband, Andy of Gallatin and Kathleen Cantrell of Gallatin; brother, James Ladd and wife, Frances of Portland; eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Mrs. Polston was born May 17, 1940 in Sumner County, daughter of the late Jesse Cory Morris and Viola Mai Rose Morris.
