Tommy Raymer

age 88, of Hendersonville, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012.  Funeral service was Tuesday, March 13 at noon from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Jerry Boze officiating.  Burial followed in Crestview Memorial Park with Dale Dickson, Charles Carter, Leven Carter, Jr. Page, Donald Rippy, Richey Shaffer and Mike Jordan serving as pallbearers. Mr. Raymer was born in Sumner County, on October 30, 1923, son of the late Thomas and Laura Belle Raymer.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Evie Nelle  Raymer, two brothers, Harold and Warner Raymer, three sisters, Mildred Creekmore,  Henrietta Garrett and Ollie Belle Kirk.  He is survived by his wife, Pauline Raymer; three sisters, Joyce Butler (Aubrey) of Gallatin, Norma Ruth Proctor of Madison and Mary Catherine Brewer of Gallatin; Pauline’s daughter Edie Jordan; two grandchildren, Shelley Rippy (Donald) and Angie Shaffer (Richey); three great grandchildren, Brooklyn Rippy, Kyndal and Blayne Shaffer.  Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderfh.info.

Neal E. “Buddy” Dickens

age 86, of Goodlettsville, passed away on March 10, 2012.  He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara.  He is survived by sons, Larry N. Dickens and Carlton K. Dickens; grandchildren, Samantha, Christopher, Connor, and Taylor Dickens; and step-grandchildren, Alexis and Karen Benitez.  A Life Celebration service is today, Friday, March 16, 2012 at 7 p.m. in the Hendersonville Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joey Davis officiating. Visitation is from 5 p.m. until service hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 Johnny Cash Pkwy. Helen Mai Munday

age 78, of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012. Funeral service was Tuesday, March 13 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Brother Dennis Young and Brother Kenneth Daughtry officiating.  Interment followed in Crestview Memorial Park with grandsons serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Munday was born August 23, 1933 in Sumner County, daughter of the late Benton M. “Mac” Barber and Mary Allen Aldridge Barber. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Paul D. Munday; daughter, Sandra Mills; granddaughter, Jill Rutledge; four sisters and six brothers.  She is survived by sons, Mike Munday (Connie) of Gallatin and Dwight Munday of Gallatin; daughters, Paulette Wade (Ken) of Greenbrier and Teresa Wilcox (Richard) of Gallatin; brothers, Lloyd Barber (Sharon) of Hendersonville and Billy Joe Barber of Lebanon; sister, Zelma Stinson of Indiana; 15 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.

Ronald Paul Moon, Sr.

age 76, of Nashville, went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cortice and Marietta Moon, and by his brother Gordon Moon. He is survived by wife Loretta (Burgess); daughters Ronetta Lafargue (Jerry), Paula Beaird (Larry); son Ronald Paul Moon Jr. and four grandchildren, Eli Beaird, Aaron Beaird, Jordan Beaird and Rebecca Lafargue. He enjoyed a career preaching the Gospel in the United States and Italy. There will be a memorial service in Nashville in Chumley Hall at Granny White Church of Christ, March 17, 2012 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Moon’s name to Alive Hospice.
