Ashley’s Place

Ashley’s Place, a Sumner Child Advocacy Center designed to deliver comprehensive services to child physical and sexual victims and their families in a child-focused, neutral-based facility.

The following needs are immediate:

–Assistance with providing basic office supervision from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. (at most) on  Tuesday and Wednesday nights during individual child therapy sessions.

–Assistance with office coverage on the second Monday of each month for the Non-Offending Parenting support group. Parents often bring children due to lack of child care, and a volunteer is needed to assist in child supervision. Group is from 6-7:30 p.m. once a month.

–We are in desperate need of a volunteer who feels they have the ambition and skills to chair a fund raising committee. This volunteer position would be the lead in establishing a funding raising event or events.

–The center is currently recruiting board members and would like to talk with anyone who feels that they would be a good fit with the center’s mission in serving child sexual abuse victims. The board meets once a month.
