A new sports-oriented restaurant and bar is looking to become top dog in Gallatin.
Double Dogs Chow House opened its newest location at 1620 Nashville Pike near St. Blaise Road on June 21.
Prior to opening, the company made a $10,000 donation to the Humane Society of Sumner County. Gallatin Police Officer Austin McCurry and his K-9 partner Milo were also recognized for their service.
“Gallatin’s food scene is on the rise and continues to give its neighbors a run for its money,” Double Dogs founder Daniel Davis said in a prepared statement. “We are thrilled to be a part of this continued growth as we open the doors to a Double Dogs location in Gallatin. We thank our customers for their support and are excited to be a part of this community.”
The restaurant is the company’s eighth location. It touts a variety of food offerings including the Bo Burger, Dog Bowl Nachos, hand-breaded chicken fingers and wings along with a full bar and 36 televisions.
In addition to its “diverse menu,” the restaurant also features a “fun and inviting atmosphere” for families, according to Kim Baker, CEO of the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce.
“Their options of both outside and inside seating make for the perfect spot for a casual lunch meeting, date night and/or an especially great place to catch a game,” Baker added. “We are thrilled to have Double Dogs in Gallatin and look forward to them offering up their unique flavor for many years to come.”
In addition to Gallatin, Double Dogs has seven other locations across Tennessee and Kentucky including two in Nashville and Knoxville.
