book sale

The Hendersonville Library Friends organizes book sales throughout the year where book lovers, educators, families and friends can discover new books by authors they love, or old favorites at bargain prices.

The selection of gently pre-owned books is exceptional. Many are in mint condition.  There are books for everyone – adults, preteens, teens, children and teachers.  High quality books from literary fiction to political biographies to hobbies to classics are marked at significantly reduced rates. The books cover a multitude of topics and are well organized for easy browsing.

Additionally, we have DVDs, CDs, and audio books. Everything we have for sale has been generously donated by members of the community. Most items are priced at $2 or less. We are unable to take credit cards; cash only.

The best selections go fast so plan to attend the first day of the sale, Nov. 2.  The library’s Saturday hours are 12 noon till 4 p.m.  Other hours:

Monday10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Tuesday10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Wednesday10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Thursday10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

The Hendersonville Library Friends are grateful for the community’s support.  Proceeds from the Book Sale purchases are used for library programs, equipment and materials.
