Sumner County 4-H has announced the winners of the 2019-2020 County 4-H Poster Contest.
During the last 4-H club meeting rotation, the 4-H staff met with their 129 4th and 5th grade classrooms across the county to talk about the importance of communication, specifically visual communication. The contest for the rotation was the 4-H Poster Contest.
Around 200 4-H posters made by these students across Sumner County made it to the county contest. In order to get to the county contest, you had to at least place in the top three of your club. There were so many awesome posters to choose from this year!
The following are the top 10 in the county: 1st Place – Tristan Garcia (Westmoreland); 2nd Place – Reed Chism (Madison Creek); 3rd Place – Avery Taylor (Guild); 4th Place – Colin Guyton (Madison Creek); 5th Place – Olivia Lindsey (HB Williams); 6th Place – Lane Freise (Beech); 7th Place – Paisley Thompson (JW Wiseman); 8th Place – Emily Bader (Portland Gateview); 9th Place – Reese Douglas (Jack Anderson), and 10th Place – Scarlett Mitchell (Beech).
Congratulations to all our winners and those that competed in the 4-H Poster Contest!
