Hendersonville Christian Academy has named Amber (Hunt) Mungle as Head of School.
Mungle has served as a classroom teacher at HCA since 2005, been the dean of female students for two years and has led as the Upper School principal for the past five years.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Temple University in secondary education in the areas of speech communications and English as well as a master’s degree from Liberty University in teaching and learning. Mungle will direct the day-to-day operations of the school while leading the staff, faculty and student body in continuous school improvement.
“I am delighted that Mrs. Amber (Hunt) Mungle will be our Head of School,” Pastor Greg Mutsch of Bible Baptist Church said. “She has a strong connection to all of our HCA constituencies: students, parents, faculty and alumni.”
“Carrying on the family tradition of impacting young people’s minds and hearts is a privilege and a responsibility that I take seriously,” said Mungle whose parents have been Christian school educators since the 1970s.
