*Rehoboth United Methodist Church welcomes everyone to attend an Advent study, “Christmas Unexpected,” which searches the questions: What would we do if we received an unexpected calling as Mary, Joseph and the Shepherds experienced? Is God really with us? Join us for all or part of this study on Thursday’s at 10 a.m. or 6 p.m. Dec. 5, 12, and 19, in the Chapel located at 2601 Cages Bend Rd. Gallatin.

*Awarding winning music group Eclipse 6 brings their popular Christmas concert to Hendersonville at Long Hollow Baptist Church - Student Center, 3031 Long Hollow Pike in Hendersonville on December 6 from 7-9 pm. A perfect Christmas concert the entire family will enjoy! Eclipse 6 formed in 2001 and has released nine albums and continues to tour and perform throughout the US and abroad. Come listen to your favorite Christmas songs with a new twist. Straight off their YouTube viral hits "The Greatest Snowman" and "Hamildolph", Eclipse 6 continues to spread the Christmas cheer. * Union University is hosting a Pancakes and Pictures with Santa event between 9-11:30 a.m.  This is FREE to the public!! We invite you to bring your children, grandchildren or come yourself for a selfie with Santa.  Don’t forget to stop in and get some delicious pancakes too!

*Christmas Home Tour of Sumner County presented by Sumner County Women's Council of Realtors from 11 – 4. Tickets $12.50 - can be purchased at Sumner County Visitors Center.

*GodWhy Church is hosting Breakfast with Santa from 8-11 a.m. Come enjoy a Pancake Breakfast, Pictures with Santa, Santa’s Store, Games, Prizes, Crafts, Silent Auction, Reindeer Food and meet characters from Toy Story.  $5.00 each at the door. *Sumner Trails chapter of Tennessee Trails will lead a 2.4-mile hike in Bledsoe Creek State Park rated Easy to Moderate. Meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Visitors Center/Park Office, 400 Ziegler Fort in Gallatin. We will do the High Ridge and Shoreline Trails Loop. Trail surface includes gravel, dirt, rocks and steep stairs. *Rehoboth United Methodist Church extends an invitation to a "Blue Christmas" worship service on Sat. December 21 at 6:30 p.m. Christmas can be a difficult time for many people for various reasons. *Sumner Trails Chapter of Tennessee Trails will lead a 3-mile Winter Solstice hike on the White House Greenway. The Trail is paved and mostly level starting from the Tyree Springs trailhead at White House High School and following Honey Run Creek to the Veterans Memorial trailhead. Meet for carpooling at the Kroger parking lot at Glenbrook Shopping Center, 1010 Glenbrook Way in Hendersonville at 10 a.m. or at White House High School parking area at 10:30. *Members of Rehoboth United Methodist Church invite everyone in the community to attend a special family Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, December 24, to celebrate the birth of Jesus at 5 p.m. Pastor Sean Stanfield will share the message, “The Gift of Christmas.” Children of all ages are welcome! *Sumner Trails Chapter of Tennessee Trails will lead a 3-mile Holiday Tromp on the Hendersonville Greenway system, starting on Stop 30 Road, connecting with the Hendersonville Greenway, then connecting with the Drakes Creek Greenway and ending up at the ball fields at Drakes Creek park. Meet at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 650 East Main Street in Hendersonville at 10 a.m. We will leave a car at the end of the Tromp to take the drivers back to St. Tim's. *Tweens – Crafts, Snacks and Games. The 1st Thursday of each month for ages 9-12, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

*Dec 7 – Movie Matinee with Polar Express in 3D – 3D glasses while supply lasts, join us for this family event

*Dec 14 – A Snowy Storytime with special guests and cookie decorating @ 1 p.m.

The library will be closed Dec 24 – 25 for the holiday.
