HHS grad prepares for 4,000-mile cancer run

Mayor Jamie Clary proclaimed June 3 Trey Tucker Day in Hendersonville last week in recognition of Tucker’s efforts to raise funds and awareness for young adults and their families impacted by cancer.

Tucker, 25, will participate in the Ulman Foundation’s 4K for Cancer, a 49-day marathon that begins June 25 in Baltimore, Md., and ends Aug. 13 in San Francisco, Calif.

The 2015 Hendersonville High School graduate has already raised more than $4, 900 for the non-profit organization.
