Hendersonville Library Friends say they are grateful for another successful book sale.

Hendersonville Library Friends extend a big thank you to the residents of Sumner County for a very successful fundraising event!

The Hendersonville Library Friends is a non-profit organization that raises funds to help support the programs and services at the Hendersonville library. One way this is accomplished is by our community donating books and attending our book sales.

The Friends extend a thank you to everyone for your generous donations of DVDs, CDs, and most importantly the books!  Donations are critical to our Book Sale. We could not do this without you.

The Library Friends also give a big shout out of thanks to Acting Library Manager Diane Johnson and the entire library staff who supported and helped in our success assisting and keeping the books organized. Your hard work, dedication and positive contributions made a huge impact on sales!

A round of applause also go to the volunteers and book sorters who work throughout the year categorizing books, moving heavy boxes, storing boxed books, setting up before and cleaning afterward. Finally, a thank you to the individuals who came in after the sale to take unsold books to various organizations, nursing homes, and prisons for continued use.

As a volunteer, a donor or a purchaser, you are a part of something special - you are a part of our wonderful community we call home! And you make everything the Library Friends do possible.

The library Friends will be sponsoring another Book Sale this fall.  Exact dates will be announced later.
