Harbor Freight Tools will celebrate the grand opening of its new store in Gallatin with a giveaway this weekend.
The business’ first 500 customers on Saturday, Nov. 9 will receive a free tape measure from the retailer, according to news release from the company. The store is located at 420 W. Main St. and will open at 8 a.m.
“At Harbor Freight, we’re passionate about providing customers with the tools they need to get the job done, and always at an affordable price,” store manager Alexis Rios said in a prepared statement. “We look forward to welcoming auto technicians, contractors, woodworkers, homeowners, hobbyists – anyone who needs affordable tools.”
The 15,000-square-foot store offers a full selection of tools and accessories including air and power tools, welding supplies, outdoor power equipment, shop equipment and hand tools along with generators, storage solutions and other items.
Harbor Freight Tools opened the location on Oct. 22 in former longtime home of Fred’s, which was one of 156 locations closed earlier this year by the Memphis-based retailer.
Started in Southern California in 1977, Harbor Freight Tools operates more than 1,000 stores across the county. The Gallatin location is the retailer’s 29th in Tennessee.
The store is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. and on Sundays from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. For more information visit www.harborfreight.com.
