Early voting kicks off in Sumner next week


Candidate qualifying petitions for the Sumner County Primary on March 3, 2020 are now available.

Assessor of Property will be on the ballot and both the Republican and Democratic Parties have called for a primary which will be conducted in conjunction with the Presidential Preference Primary. 

Qualifying petitions are available in the Sumner County Election Commission Office, 355 N. Belvedere Dr., Room 106 in Gallatin. 

The qualifying deadline is noon, Thursday, Dec. 12. Those wishing to run as an Independent candidate for the office of Assessor of Property will follow the same deadlines as those running in the Primary.
