Hendersonville police made arrests and charged individuals with aggravated robbery in two separate, unrelated incidents on Oct. 10 and Oct. 14.
Two adults and a juvenile were charged with aggravated robbery after police say a juvenile was knocked unconscious and robbed at Veteran’s Park on Thursday, Oct. 10.
Police received a report that a robbery had occurred near the park’s skateboard park at around 7:35 p.m., according to an HPD media release.
The juvenile victim had been assaulted by another juvenile and two adults, 19-year-old Te’erick Thomas and Sinchez Foster, 20.
The three people interacted with the victim until he was struck from behind by Foster and knocked unconscious, according to police. Thomas then removed cash from the victim’s wallet before the three fled in the juvenile suspect’s vehicle.
The juvenile was taken to juvenile detention while Foster and Thomas were booked into the Sumner County Jail. They are scheduled to appear in Sumner County General Sessions Court on Nov. 13.
On Oct. 14, Keanthony Lopez, 22, was arrested for an aggravated robbery that police say occurred at 118 Hunters Trail.
Lopez met the victim on an online dating app, according to an HPD media release. During the meeting, Lopez pulled out a gun and robbed the victim of his phone and wallet which were later recovered from the residence. Police say they also recovered a gun which turned out to not be a real gun.
