Three people have been charged with robbing a man who solicited a prostitute at the InTown Suites on West Main Street earlier this month.
Hendersonville police were called to the motel on Dec. 11 regarding a domestic disturbance. When they arrived, Jordan Tippett, 23, reported that he solicited a prostitute online. Tippett said two men forced their way into his room, holding him at knifepoint while they stole his property.
Police identified the female Tippett solicited as Patricia Smith, 32, and obtained warrants for her arrest. While searching for Smith, detectives identified the two males who allegedly robbed Tippett as David Booker, 50 and Kelvin Tharpe, 43.
Booker and Tharpe were taken into custody and charged with aggravated robbery. They remain in the Sumner County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
Smith was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery a few days later. She is being held there on a $20,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Sumner County General Sessions Court on April 16.
Tippett was charged with patronizing prostitution.
