Feds execute search warrant in quiet Hendersonville neighborhood

Officers with the federal Drug Enforcement Administration executed a search warrant on a home in Hendersonville early Wednesday.

Residents of the normally quiet Lake Harbor subdivision were awakened early June 9 by the sound of sirens, flash-bang stun grenades and officers ordering one of their neighbors to surrender.

Neighbors say more than a dozen officers from several different law enforcement agencies descended on a home on Lake Harbor Drive at around 6 a.m.

Kevin McWilliams, a public information officer with the U. S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s division office in Louisville, Ky., confirmed his agency executed a search warrant in the lakeside neighborhood on June 9, but declined to provide further details. Hendersonville police had referred all questions to the DEA.
