Hendersonville's O'Charley's to close

O'Charley's on Indian Lake Boulevard will close for good on Sunday.

The Hendersonville O'Charley's on Indian Lake Boulevard will close for good at the end of the business day on Sunday, Jan. 27.

"As a longtime part of this community we appreciate our guests and the many friends we made over the years," said O'Charley's Senior Director of Marketing Jeff Hingher.

"We are also grateful to our team members who so capably served our guests and assisted them in transitioning to other area stores or new employment.

"Going forward we extend a warm welcome for our guests to join us at our O'Charley's restaurants in the Middle Tennessee area."

When asked why this particular location was closing, O'Charley's President Craig Barber said in a statement, "Market and traffic patterns for locations change while competition evolves. Consideration of changes to our restaurant portfolio includes careful analysis based on each location's unique characteristics. It was this strategic and important process that led to the closure of this location."

O'Charley's locations in Brentwood and Spring Hill closed in late 2018 after lease agreements expired at those locations, according to several news reports at the time of the closings.

According to online tax documents, the O'Charley's at 212 Indian Lake Boulevard in Hendersonville was built in 2005 and is owned by O'Charley's, LLC.

The restaurant chain also has locations in Hermitage, Gallatin, Mt. Juliet and Goodlettsville.
