We are grateful to the many loyal readers of the Hendersonville Standard. Our team of journalists works hard every day to keep you updated about what is happening in Hendersonville. We hope you have enjoyed our focus on local government, business, sports, people and much more. We have continued to add features over the past couple of years, like puzzles and comics, and just recently started carrying a weekly column from Ms. Cheap on ways to save money.

Since the inception of the newspaper, we have offered full and free access to our website, hendersonvillestandard.com. Producing all of this content is not inexpensive, and we believe we are providing significant value online. So, effective July 9, we are going to start charging for access.

If you are a current subscriber to the Hendersonville Standard, we are sending you an e-mail or letter explaining how you can continue to enjoy full and free online access with your subscription.

For those who don’t currently subscribe, we hope you will consider doing so. Every community needs a good local newspaper and we are proud of the work we do at the Standard. But we need your support to be able to keep you up to speed on the news happening in Hendersonville. An annual subscription costs just $25/year (52 weeks of the print edition plus full digital access) or just $20/year for full digital access only.

You can click on the Subscribe link at the top of the home page to get started. Or, if you have questions, email us at support@hendersonvllestandard.com or call us at 615-452-4940.

In the meantime, we very much appreciate your support of the Standard and look forward to continuing to provide you with the outstanding journalism you have come to expect.
