PNC Bank’s national expansion of retail banking is continuing with its second entry into Tennessee, unveiling its newest Solution Center at 207 Indian Lake Blvd. in Hendersonville.

PNC Solution Centers allow customers to interact with trained staff for individual consultation about their personal needs and financial goals, as well as one-on-one demonstrations of PNC’s digital banking technology.

The Centers are designed to provide the best customer experience in the industry. The Hendersonville Solution Center will feature:

*PNC ATM and Banking Kiosk – Self-service capabilities for deposits, withdrawals and other bank transactions.

*Advanced Technology – Screen-mirroring capabilities from customers’ phones or tablets, projecting to large plasma screens for hands-on demonstrations of PNC apps or a shoulder-to-shoulder guided digital experience.

*Work Stations of the Future – Mobile PNC consultants will carry portable tablets to work with customers wherever they are most comfortable within the Solution Center.

*Conversational Gathering Spaces – Furniture that feels like home – sofas, high-top kitchen tables and rounded tables – will encourage side-by-side conversations in a more relaxed and comfortable setting.

“There’s something to be said for the comfort level that comes with a bank putting down roots in the community,” said Mike Johnson, PNC regional president for Tennessee. “Even with strong digital offerings, there is an importance in having a physical presence. We’ve learned that customers are more comfortable opening an account with us digitally when they know we’re physically available nearby, if they need us.”

The first PNC Solution Center in Tennessee opened July 28, in Franklin. A third Solution Center is scheduled to open later this month on the ground level of the recently-opened tower at 1200 Broadway in downtown Nashville. With five Solution Centers opened in 2019 and eight opened so far this year, PNC plans to have 25 locations in place by year end as part of its expansion into new markets, including Boston, Denver, Dallas and Houston.
