Two juveniles have been charged for a robbery that occurred Nov. 13 at the American Discount Tobacco store on West Main Street.

Hendersonville police officers responded to the area of West Main Street and New Shackle Island Road after a passerby witnessed a robbery involving a firearm unfolding, according to an HPD media release. 

Officers attempted a traffic stop on the suspects believed to be responsible for the robbery.

The suspects continued to flee through the city until several officers converged on their vehicle and were able to take them into custody.

When Hendersonville police detectives responded to the area, they learned that a robbery had just occurred at American Discount Tobacco that had yet to be reported by the business.  

The two juveniles caught by police were subsequently charged with aggravated robbery, evading arrest, and reckless endangerment. They were transported to Juvenile Detention pending a detention hearing.
