Michael Burnett, 38, of Gallatin TN, passed away Nov. 4, 2019.
Michael was born on Dec. 5, 1980 in Nashville, TN to Diane Whitfield and Randy Burnett. Michael graduated from Hendersonville High School in 1999. Michael was a kind-hearted and caring man. He always looked out for his family and friends, of which there were too many to count. He was an avid football fan with his favorite teams being the Hendersonville Commando’s, Alabama Crimson Tide, and the Tennessee Titans. He never met a stranger and shared his love for people by preparing and serving them some of the best smoked and barbequed meat that you could ever put in your mouth.
Michael is survived by his mother, Diane (Lenny) Whitfield; father, Randy (Gail) Burnett; sisters, Megan (Adam) Terry and Miranda (Zach) Womack; grandparents, Lois (Tommy) Owen, James (Pat) Smith, and Vivian Burnett; aunts, Terry Walker, Sherry Castello, Sandy Foster, and Brenda Gray.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edyth and Bernice Castello.
A life celebration will be held on Wednesday Nov. 20 at Long Hollow Baptist Church in Hendersonville, TN. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. and service will follow immediately afterwards.
