The 2019 Taste of Hendersonville recently showcased over 100 businesses from the Hendersonville area at the Streets of Indian Lake. Thousands of attendees purchased an admission allowing access to taste food from every booth and even vote for their favorite. Live entertainment, kid’s zone, and a VIP Lounge made it fun for everyone. Outside of the People’s Choice award for food and brewery of choice, celebrity judges were on-hand to critique each entrant and vote the Best Entree, Best Dessert, Best Side Dish, Best Appetizer, Best Craft Brewery, Best Booth, Best Beverage. Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club kicked off the Battle of the Brew competition this year featuring craft beers from Yazoo Brewing Company and Half Batch Brewing.  

This year’s winners are Best Booth Display: Myers’ Front Porch; Best Appetizer: Carrabba’s; Best of Taste and Best Entree: Demos’ Steak and Spaghetti House; Best Side Dish: Zoe’s Kitchen; Best Dessert: Lili Bella’s Cakes and Coffee Bar; Best Drink: Stompin’ Grounds Coffee House; Best Craft Beer: Yazoo Brewing Company; Kids Choice Award: Moe’s Southwest Grill; People’s Choice Award for food:  Sander’s Ferry Pizza; and People’s Choice Award for Craft Beer:  Yazoo Brewing Company
