At approximately 9:45 p.m. on June 10, Hendersonville police responded to a report of shots fired in the 500 block of Savely Drive.

The initial investigation showed that eight males from two different vehicles and a ninth male who resided in the area met outside at a Savely Drive residence to conduct a drug deal.  

During the drug deal, one of the groups of males began to flee the area in their vehicle and a gunfight ensued in the street between the groups of occupants of the two vehicles.

One of the fired bullets did enter a home in close vicinity to a child inside, but fortunately there were no injuries to anyone during the exchange of gunfire.

Police have identified all nine persons involved in this incident. Eight were located and arrested.  Warrants for the arrest of the ninth person, Eugene Llapri, are active.

Eugene Llapri, 18, of Nashville is wanted for: Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Possession of a Schedule 6 Drug for Resale and Reckless Endangerment.

The following have been arrested and are being held in the Sumner County Jail or Sumner County Juvenile Detention Center:

Demyre Law, 19, of Nashville is charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Possession of a Schedule 6 Drug for Resale and Reckless Endangerment.

Vincent Altieri, 18, of Nashville is charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Possession of a Schedule 6 Drug for Resale, Reckless Endangerment.

LaRobert Carpenter, 17, but charged as an adult, of Nashville is charged with: Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Possession of a Schedule 6 Drug for Resale and Reckless Endangerment.

Jamie Wilkes, 18, of Hendersonville is charged with Attempted Aggravated Robbery, Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Aggravated Assault and Reckless Endangerment.

A 16-year-old male of Hendersonville is charged with Attempted Aggravated Robbery, Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Aggravated Assault and Reckless Endangerment.

 Two 16-year-old males of Nashville are charged with Attempted Aggravated Robbery, Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Aggravated Assault and Reckless Endangerment.

A 15-year-old male of Hendersonville is charged with Facilitation of Possession of a Schedule 6 Drug for Resale.
