INTENT TO MAKE APPROPRIATION in the amount of $5,433.30 as a charitable contribution to Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County for donations for fees paid.

Section 5-9-109, of the Tennessee Code Annotated, authorizes the County Legislative Body to make appropriation to non- profit charitable organization, and the Sumner County Legislative Body recognizes the various non-profit charitable organizations located in Sumner County have a great need of funds to carry on their work; and

It is the expressed interest of the County Commission of Sumner County in providing these funds to non-profit charitable organizations to be fully in compliance with the Rules of the Comptroller of the Treasury, and Section 5-9-109 of the Tennessee Code Annotated and any and all other laws which may apply to county appropriations to non-profit organizations.
