GALLATIN - The third seeded Station Camp Bison found themselves in a battle from the opening tip-off Monday night as the sixth seed Gallatin Green Wave jumped out to a 16-5 first quarter lead and 24-19 halftime advantage.

GALLATIN – Station Camp defeated Portland Tuesday night 65-30 behind a physical swarming defense which created a lot of transition baskets throughout the game.

GALLATIN  – Portland jumped out to an early 8-3 lead over host Station Camp but could not keep pace with Marrisa Wirtz and company. Wirtz poured in 24 points as the Lady Bison overcame the early deficit to lead 15-11 at the end of one quarter en route to their 52-39 win. 

GALLATIN - Basketball is a game of runs, and that was no more apparent than in Tuesday night’s district clash between the Bison and Blue Devils as a 2:30 stretch in the third quarter decided the two team’s fate. 

GALLATIN - Four Station Camp Bison scored in double figures Friday night to lead Station Camp (7-2, 2-1) over city-rival Gallatin (5-3, 1-3), 64-47.

Hendersonville - The Beech Buccaneers capped off their District 10-AAA double-header with a victory over the visiting Station Camp Bison, 43-31. 

HENDERSONVILLE - Station Camp won their District 10-AAA opener Tuesday night with a 66-56 road victory at Beech High School. 

Seth Massey and the Station Camp Bison were unsure what their team would look like when the season tipped off.

It had been 1,725 days since Station Camp head coach Kendra Jackson had been on the hardwood for the Lady Bison basketball program.
