Commandos best Portland, face Beech in district quarterfinals
HENDERSONVILLE — Survive and advance.

TJ Kolbe sparked the Commandos off the bench, scoring a team-high 11 points, including seven points in the fourth quarter.
Hendersonville trailed Portland 17-13 at the break as neither team could find much flow offensively.
Portland extended their lead to nine in the third quarter, their biggest advantage of the game, but a Commando 5-0 run in the final 1:35 of the frame, cut the Commandos deficit to only two, 28-26, after 24 minutes.
Hendersonville dominated the fourth frame, outscoring Portland 19-9, getting timely buckets from four different Commandos.
