John Jenkins.

Former Station Camp Bison John Jenkins will continue his professional career in China, according to Emiliano Carchia of Sportando, who says that Jenkins has reached an agreement with the Jiangsu Dragons.

Jenkins, 28, was the 23rd overall pick in the 2012 draft and has played for five NBA teams since then. Most recently, he appeared in 22 games for the Knicks last season, averaging 5.2 PPG with a .357 3PT%. New York declined its team option on Jenkins for 2019-2020.

According to hoopsrumors.com, this will be Jenkins’ first stint in the Chinese Basketball Association, but he does have overseas experience. The former Vanderbilt standout played for San Pablo Burgos in Spain during the 2017-2018 season.

During his senior season at Station Camp in 2008, Jenkins was the nation’s leading scorer for high schoolers, averaging 42 PPG, finishing second on the state’s all-time single-season list behind Ronnie Schmitz, who averaged 44 PPG at Ridgeway High School in 1988-1989.

Considered a five-star recruit by rivals.com, Jenkins was listed as the No. 6 shooting guard and the No. 15 player in the nation in 2008.

Jenkins signed with Vanderbilt University following the 2008 season where he averaged 17 PPG and shot .438% from behind the arc.
