Lady Commanders now 8-8 overall -

LEBANON -- Friendship Christian's volleyball team improved to 8-8 on the season and 5-1 in the district following Monday's 3-0 win over Donelson Christian Academy at the Bay Family Sportsplex.

Scores: 25-23, 25-18 and 25-21.

Paige Huckaby led the Lady Commanders with eight kills, four aces and three blocks. Sloan Stewart had six kills and an ace while Mattie Smith had six kills, two blocks and an ace.

Kaylee Scharfman finished with 26 assists, two aces and three digs while Logan Seagraves had 13 digs and three kills.

Friendship Christian will host University School of Nashville Tuesday, Sept. 10 in a 5:30 p.m. match.

Wilson Central 3, Watertown 1

WATERTOWN -- Wilson Central's volleyball team held off a determined Watertown squad 3-1 Monday. Set scores: 25-17, 20-25, 25-18 and 25-15.

Emilee McDonald had a fine all-around game for the Lady Wildcats with 17 assists, 11 digs and a trio of kills.

Nicole Brill notched 13 kills while Sydney Dalton had 11 kills and eight service aces. Taryn Dalton finished with 22 digs.

Natalie Fountain paced Watertown with 14 kills and eight digs.

Sydney Murrell finished with 37 digs and two service aces while Alie Tunks had 22 digs.

Mackailyn Cherry scored 17 assists while Brookelyn Davis had 16 assists and nine kills.

Watertown (10-3) returns to action Thursday, Sept. 12 at Clay County High.

Station Camp 3, Mt. Juliet 0

MT. JULIET -- Station Camp picked up a 3-0 win at District 9-AAA rival Mt. Juliet Monday evening. Set scores 22-25, 23-25 and 23-25.

Keeton Brown led the Lady Bears with 11 kills, Allie Brady finished with 23 assists and Carson Van Hoven collected 12 digs.

Ashlynn Lounsbury and Van Hoven each had two service aces while Krista Marlin was strong at the net with seven blocks.

Now 9-8 overall and 2-2 in the district, Mt. Juliet will play at Smyrna Thursday, Sept. 12.

Ravenwood 3,  Lebanon 1

BRENTWOOD --Lebanon High's volleyball team slid to 4-4 on the season following Monday's 3-1 loss at Ravenwood High. Set scores: 25-19, 17-25, 14-25 and 16-25.

The Lady Devils were lead by Olivia Carver with 11 kills and 10 digs.

Addie Grace Porter finished with 37 digs while Kendall Arnold passed out 25 assists with seven digs and four kills. Avery Harris recorded six kills.

Lebanon High is scheduled to play at home Thursday, Sept. 12 against LaVergne's Lady Wolverines.
